Rookie sensation Izzy Thornton-Bott (Sydney/) put together an incredible 8km race at the 2019 OUA Cross Country Championship, running her way to a fifth place finish while the women's team finished sixth overall. Thornton-Bott ran the course in a time of 28.26.1 and was named the OUA female rookie of the year as well as a first-team all-star.
