The Warrior cross country teams are off to a great start as they began their season this past Saturday at the Vigars & Saltar Western Invitational in London. The Women were up first, placing 5th amongst the OUA teams. Led by team captain Claudia Heeney (Waterloo/) who raced to 16th place in a time of 31:22. Closely behind was Megan Richer (Dundas/) in 18th place, finishing the 8km course in 31:41. Ella Symon (Vancouver/) (32nd), Kate Granstrom (40th), and Nicole Schindler (Waterloo/) (55th) rounded out the top 5 scorers.
