The Warriors boarded the plane for the U SPORTS Championship early last Tuesday morning in their Saskasuits, ready to defend national medals and cap off the team's momentous season in Saskatoon.

Hannah Blair (Waterloo/Waterloo) and Aaron Thompson (Waterloo/Waterloo) were both named OUA track and field major award winners on Monday. Blair was named the women's field MVP while Thompson was named the OUA community service award winner.

Championship Season is among us, and the province's best athletes battle it out in a quest for OUA glory. The Waterloo Track & Field team were determined to prove to the province and the country that they belonged amongst the nations best.

As the regular season comes to a close, the Warriors Track & Field team were running and jumping all across the province in order to hit qualifying standards and to cement their place at the upcoming championships.

The Warriors Track and Field team had a strong showing at the Lancers Team Challenge track and field meet this past weekend in Windsor. There they achieved some high-ranking marks as well as some solid performances all around.
